Comodo, 5 stop aiuta molto per lavorare se vuoi dare priorità al diaframma e scattare in piena luce senza essere troppo condizionati dall'otturatore. Costo qualità, molto vantaggiosi

provato sul mio 18-105 G master Sony, posso dire che rispetta l'ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzop, non lascia X o bordi neri sul risultato finale, e poi la corsa limitata rende il prodotto molto più comodo. Ancora una volta soddisfatto della qualità di K&F

Ho utilizzato il filtro in questione, nel diametro 77 mm, sia con una full frame Sony A7R-II, sia con una recentissima Fujifilm X-T4.E' la prima volta che impiego un filtro ND variabile, essendomi sinora affidato solamente a filtri ND fissi B+W, Kenko e Gobe.Devo dire che anche in questo caso si conferma la grande qualità ottica dei prodotti della serie Nano-X di K&F Concept, che francamente rivaleggiano con filtri di alta gamma sotto ogni profilo.Non riscontro riduzione apprezzabile né della nitidezza, né del contrasto d'immagine. Rilevo una lieve dominante giallo-verde, che però è leggera e del tutto comune anche a filtri di altissima qualità e alto prezzo: il B+W, ad esempio, ha lo stesso colore.Perfetto il trattamente antiriflesso, che non sfigura neppure al confronto con quelli Hoya o B+W.Aggiungo che è ottima pure la resistenza all'unto, dato che è veramente molto difficile lasciare impronte sul vetro. Anche in tal senso il prodotto rivaleggia con quelli di vertice.Non è presente la famigerata "X" o croce a nessuna delle intensità del filtro.Si nota l'effetto di polarizzazione della luce (dato che gli ND variabili sono in realtà dati dall'accoppiamento di due polarizzatori), che si mostra più marcato in certe aree con le focali più corte (a 24 mm con la Sony A7R-II, a 16 mm con la Fuji X-T4, che è APS-C). Ma detto effetto è quello tipico dei polarizzatori con obiettivi grandangolari e nulla a che fare con quello "a croce" che produce una terribile "X" sull'intera immagine.Otticamente, quindi, il filtro è perfetto.La costruzione è egualmente molto buona, con un ottimo doppio telaio in lega di alluminio, rivestito con un piacevole effetto a polvere di colore antracite.Ottima la scorrevolezza dei due anelli l'uno sull'altro, contrastata al punto giusto e molto uniforme.Opportunamente, sono previsiti blocchi nei due punti di fine corsa.Gli aspetti che costituiscono dei limiti significativi del prodotto sono i seguenti.In primo luogo, il filtro ha un diametro di 72 mm solo sulla filettatura "maschio", mentre quella interna "femmina" è da 77 mm; evidentemente tale allargamento del diametro serve ad evitare che il filtro vignetti, dato che in effetti l'intero filtro è più largo dell'obiettivo su cui va montato.Effettivamente, non c'è vignettatura su ottiche da 24 mm o equivalenti (ossia da 16 mm su APS-C).In secondo luogo, la polarizzazione prodotta dal filtro stesso (personalmente utilizzo molto il polarizzatore) è ottima, ma non è prevista la possibilità di ruotarlo per orientarlo rispetto alla posizione del sole, dato che a ruotare è solo l'anello esterno (ovviamente) per regolare la gradazione del filtro neutro. Per ovviare a questo inconveniente si può svitare leggermente l'intero filtro, in modo da poterlo così ruotare totalmente; il sistema funziona, ma la rotazione della sola parte frontale (per variare la densità ND) diviene più complicata.In terzo luogo, non è possibile utilizzare un vero polarizzatore in abbinamento al filtro con alcune ottiche, perché sia che lo si metta prima, sia che lo si avviti dopo (ovviamente nei due diametri diversi necessari), si produce vignettatura sia alla focale di 24 mm, sia anche a 35 mm con l'ottica Sony (ma non con la Fujinon, 16-80 f/4, che evidentemente ha una costruzione più ampia).L'ho comunque utilizzato da solo, col sistema di lasciarlo leggermente svitato per poterlo orientare, e nel complesso mi sono trovato bene, almeno dopo aver fatto l'abitudine a questa strana soluzione.In ogni caso, i limiti indicati, sono delle caratteristiche intrinseche del prodotto nel suo essere ad intensità variabile; non si tratta di veri difetti.Per il prezzo, il filtro è eccellente.

Un filtro molto buono, può competere con marchi più blasonati, l'ho provato anche con le lunghe esposizioni, e non mi ha deluso, anzi!!!

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. La filettatura non forza mai e sembra essere solido. Veramente consigliato.

Product: 58mm Variable ND2-ND32

Description: The rim of the filter is made out of what I'd assume is aluminum, coated matte black, (which has a nice weight to it, and has hard stops at ND2 & ND32). The rim itself is actually fairly nice. It's easy to put on, and easy to take off due to the wide ridged design around the base of the filter. The high index optical glass is indeed nano coated to protect against water/oils from fingerprints, rain, & etc. Which are easily removed without struggle in my testing with a clean micro fiber cloth (not included). The glass itself has a slight yellow tint to it (which you can see from the photo comparison), which can also easily be corrected through your cameras auto white balance, or lightroom. The filter also doesn't loose to much detail if adjusted properly which is nice as you will see from the photos, and their description in the next section.

Photos: The first four photos of the product were taken without any filters. Though the next two of the black & red mouse pad were to show detail comparisons. These two photos were taken about 1-2ft away, but are cropped to show detail. Which were slighty adjusted to be as equal as possible.

The next 6 photos of the flowers next to the bird bath were taken without adjusting any settings to show the darkness of the filter (F5.6 1/320s ISO 100), in this order: No Filter, ND2 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, & ND32 5th stop.

Overall: The produce works well, and is well made! I would highly recommend picking one of these up, along with a circular polarizer. Though only notable things I found with the product is that it has a slight yellow tint of the filter, the front thread size of the filter in bigger then 58mm, and the top of the filter very slightly wiggles. Otherwise it gets a solid A from me!

Extra: I used a 49mm-58mm step up ring for the filter to fit my Canon 50mm F/1.8

Camera/Settings: Shot on a Canon Rebel SL3, with custom white balance settings set to +/-0,+/-0 for raw color quality.

Minima dominante verde facilmente correggibile, ma vetro cristallino che polarizza in modo impeccabile. Me lo aspettavo peggio. Molto soddisfatto.

Typically you get what you pay for when it comes to camera gear but this product is one of those rare exceptions. I was very hesitant to purchase it based on the price but after watching dozens of reviews on variable ND filters I figured I would give it a shot. I have never been a fan of variable ND due to some of the image artifacts they are known for. I always used individual ND filters as needed which can be a pain when shooting run&gun video.

I loved that this ND filter had hard stops to not go past the usable points of filtering and that they somehow eliminated the dreaded x shape in the picture. While photos may be able to recover from some of these artifacts it is much harder to get around them in video.

So far I am completely blown away at how good this VND filter has performed. The picture quality as far as my initial testing has shown is stellar. Color cast seems to be at a minimum and there is absolutely no X shape or vignetting. To be fair I bought the 82mm size version and use step up rings on my GH4 and m43 lenses but so far even on the 62mm wide 14-140 lens visually the VND seems perfect.

My only super tiny issue which is true of all VND filters is that turning a filter on the front of the lens while shooting video is very easy to accidentally get my fingers in the shot. Would be nice to have the option to screw in a tiny handle into the VND so I have something to grab onto and not get my fingers in the shot. Maybe something the manufacturer can consider for a future product.
